I would like to thank Joe Ducey from ABC15 for airing this report. I'm going to a Town Hall meeting with Nissan tonight in Scottsdale, and I'm glad to see that this issue is still getting press. I'm glad to see that Nissan is changing the warranty, but I fear that this is just an easy way for Nissan to blow off Phoenix and other high temperature climate areas. I didn't purchase a car with 9 battery capacity bars so when Nissan "fixes" the car they should be required to have all 12 battery capacity bars in place. IMO, this is just a way for Nissan to avoid buying back more cars in the future. Here's the link to the ABC15 story.
